Germany 1972: Four men are ready for a big adventure. Equipped with experience, dedication and determination they embark on a search for pure music - and develop the first Canton loudspeaker. A lot has happened since then. The company headquarters, an old village school at the time, was transformed into one of the most modern loudspeaker production facilities in Europe. The German "reine Musik" gave way to the English term "pure music" and with it, a versatile and unique loudspeaker range grew from the first pair of speakers.
